This French crepe shop has a very good business. The set menu is very rich, with crepes, drinks, ice cream and salad. I highly recommend it! The hot chocolate is also delicious. The drinks in this shop are not too sweet. You can add syrup yourself. The idea is very thoughtful. Generally, the chicha morada outside is very sweet.

Today I went to El Ekeko at Mall Aventura Porongoche, my first after the Reno. Place seems to be much bigger. Service is great, people are well trained, they made sure I had everything and that everything was ok and at the right time. I got Felix as my server, he really did a good job. I got there a bit early, the place was ready but the people were just finishing to get everything ready, nonetheless they made sure I didn''t feel it was too early. Food was great. I also noticed a changed in the menu, I think it improved.

Excellent dining experience. My instinct told me to give this restaurant a try. It was a test of my navigational skills and wayfinding instincts as I had to find it on dark and unknown streets. However, I found this restaurant to be really easy to find! At least, that's how it felt driving through the poorly lit and usually deserted streets at night. We found a table easily. The place was busy and crowded but not noisy and oppressive like a full restaurant. The menu offered many tempting choices, making it a challenge to choose. The menu was in English and the waitress spoke better than many Americans. She suggested we try the wines. The atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant on a lovely fall night made everyone very happy very quickly. I didn't want to leave this place at all. I will be back one day.

The place was cozy and charming, the service very professional and smooth and the food great! Perfect if you want to try traditional Peruvian food (we had alpaca and Guinea pig meat here!) in a proper way. Prices ok for the quality offered.

The location on mercaderes street near plaza de armas is normally pretty busy. I ate in the restaurant once and got food to go the rest of the time to eat elsewhere. I ordered the same Chicken sandwich with ham and cheese. The restaurant is not spectacular by dining standards but I went back about 8 times in my three weeks here because it was fast, the chicken was white meat and I never once got sick. It is surrounded by fast food and bakeries of different sorts. If you want a decent ;fast; meal this is the best option in the are IMO. I also recommend the juices. I got Piña several times and it was superb especially for the cost.
